Type II anodizing is the standard for  most users. It can be used in Clear with the natural silver coloring showing through or we can dye it one of our many color choices. Anodize uses DC current to build up an oxidized layer on the surface of the aluminum. Making a pore structure up to .001″ deep, the dye flows in and then sealed in a Nickle Fluoride bath, to prevent leaching of the color. This style of anodize is considered a “soft” anodize, since it does not have the hardness of Type III hard coat. We can anodize most all aluminum alloys with great success, call one of our sales professionals today to find out more.
